Her approach is centered on building genuine relationships, listening to each client's individual needs, and making insurance and retirement options easier to understand. Shatesha's story, in her words...
"My passion for helping others has always been at the heart of what I do. Before entering the insurance industry, I had the opportunity to teach exercise classes at senior citizen day centers, where I discovered how much joy I received from serving, educating, and encouraging others.
My journey into insurance became deeply personal while my sister and I were preparing to pursue our life insurance licenses together. Sadly, my sister passed away unexpectedly while still in her late 40s. Experiencing firsthand the confusion and disorganization that can follow the loss of a loved one gave me a much deeper understanding of why preparation, protection, and having someone knowledgeable to turn to are so important.
Through my experience working within the insurance industry and alongside different organizations, I also recognized how much I valued building genuine, lasting relationships with clients. I wanted to create an agency where people could have a trusted professional who truly cares, takes the time to listen, and remains available as their needs change—not simply someone they speak with during an enrollment or transaction.
That vision became part of the foundation of Phoenix Benefit Financial. My goal is to become a trusted, long-term resource for individuals and families as they navigate Medicare, life insurance, supplemental insurance, and retirement planning. I believe in educating clients in clear, understandable language and helping them explore insurance-based strategies that may support their health, family protection, and retirement goals.
